The event consisted of a dinner, a consultation on our proposal for a women-led place of worship and centre of excellence, followed by a seminar and Q&A on Ramadan.
This women-only workshop was an interactive demonstration, lead by Hawa Apa, who is a teacher at a local mosque in Bradford and has experience in the burial process.
On 30th March 2015, the Muslim Women's Council held an event titled “Women’s Salah Guide”. This event was led by Maryam Apa, who is a teacher at a local mosque in Bradford. The event consisted of a lunch, a talk and a Q&A session.
