Over the past year, at Muslim Women’s Council, we have been blessed to share and deliver projects that brought women together through care, faith, and community. 

From Ammi’s Circle, Ladies Tea and Chat, Nasheed Sounds for the soul group, walk and talk to curry circle and our local, national and international trips and retreats. Daughters of Eve Conference which honoured and celebrated women across our communities, with dignity, compassion, and purpose.

The Muslim Women’s Council has launched the Curry Circle Food Bank, delivered in partnership with Nourish & Hope, to support vulnerable individuals and families across Bradford.
Muslim Women’s Council Celebrates Opening of New Office in Saltaire
Muslim Women’s Council has opened a new office in Saltaire, marking a key milestone in its mission to empower women, foster community cohesion, and provide safe, inclusive spaces for dialogue and collaboration. The launch event welcomed community members, partners, and supporters to explore the new hub, meet the team, and learn about upcoming initiatives. CEO Bana Gora described the office as “a beacon for positive change,” with plans for expanded programmes, workshops, and a women’s cooperative café in the future.
Reflections From An Unforgettable Journey: Calm Amongst The Chaos

Our unique experience is honestly hard to express in mere words...I was blessed to first visit Al Quds, our beloved Masjid Al-Aqsa, in September 2024, as a sub-group leader with Zaarvel travel. Our group leader was brother Shafiq (may Allah SWT bless his soul). I remember many conversations during & after our tour, especially when brother Shafiq would say we need to include a visit to Jordan in our next tour. Who knew we would end up evacuating our group to Jordan on this tour!
