New Light Installations Featured in Van Gogh Alive Exhibition

Van Gogh Alive, the most visited immersive, multi-sensory experience in the world has been making its mark exclusively at Bradford’s Regency Hall since 13th October 2022.

This family-friendly experience is proving to be one of Yorkshire’s biggest visitor attractions; providing a truly world-class cultural experience for all to enjoy in the heart of Yorkshire.

Set to an evocative classical score, a thrilling display of over 3,000 inspirational images transforms every surface that surrounds you.

From 20th January 2023, a set of new images has been added to the experience.

Al Asma Al Husna, by Muslim Women’s Council in partnership with The Leap, combines Arabic calligraphy and digital artwork to share the Islamic Heritage Al Asma Al Husna (the 99 Beautiful Names of Allah/God) with the people of Bradford.

‘An Nur – The light/The illuminator’, ‘Al Wadood – The most loving’, ‘As Salaam – The giver of peace’, ‘Ar Rahmaan, Ar-Raheem - The Beneficent, The Merciful’, & ‘Al-Hayy Ul-Qayyum - The living, the self-subsistent’ are the five names selected, designed and developed by a focus group of Bradford Muslim women. The project team worked in collaboration with Arabic Calligrapher Razwan Ul-Haq to create the five digital artworks in different styles of calligraphy, spreading light, love and peace across Bradford.

Muslim Women's Council are delighted to partner with Van Gogh Alive, The Leap and noted Arabic Calligrapher Razwan Ul-Haq, to share the Islamic heritage 'Al Asma Al Husna'. The artwork showcases some of the beautiful names attributed to Allah.

Van Gogh Alive has been a tremendous success in Bradford. The Leap are delighted to partner with the exhibition to help hundreds of individuals and families from our communities who would not usually be able to access events of such high quality to enjoy the experience.
