Palestinian referee, Heba Saadia was appointed to be a member of the 2023 Women’s World Cup arbitration staff.
Saadia, is the first in Palestine to participate in the Women’s World Cup. The Palestinian referee previously participated in three international tournaments, the 2022 Maurice Revelo tournament for men under the age of 21 held in France, the 2022 Asian Women’s Cup held in India, and the 2022 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) held in Vietnam.
The International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) Women’s World Cup tournament will be jointly organised by Australia and New Zealand from July 20, 2023, until August 20.
