Dedicated Curry Circle Volunteer, Nazim Ali, Earns Honorary Degree by University of Bradford

Dedicated philanthropist and Curry Circle volunteer Nazim Ali was recognised by the University of Bradford for raising over £750,000 for various organisations over the previous decade.

Nazim, who received an Honorary Degree from the university said

I am surprised and humbled by this honour from my home city. I live round the corner from the university, I did my undergraduate degree here, the first in my family to go to university. It means an enormous amount to me.

Growing up in poverty and contracting tuberculosis when he was five years old drove Nazim to dedicating his life to aiding others.
