Arsenal Reaches Out to UK Muslim Community to Assist Earthquake Victims

The Arsenal football club in London has reached out to the UK's Muslim community to assist victims of major earthquakes that struck Türkiye and Syria earlier this week, causing significant devastation.

The chairman of the Finsbury Park Mosque in North London, Mohammed Kozbar, stated that the English Premier League club approached them to help with relief efforts.

Kozbar said:

They contacted us, we have this good relationship with them. They offered to give food, some other material, necessary materials to the victims as well to those who are being affected by the earthquake.

Kozbar stated that they are coordinating with the club to figure out how to deliver donations to disaster areas.

Several earthquakes including two of magnitude 7.7 and 7.6 have affected millions of people in ten Turkish regions and neighbouring countries including Syria.
