A Muslim woman wearing the Hijab was subjected to a racist attack in the German capital, Berlin, by an unknown person and was taken to the hospital.
The Berlin police said in a statement on Friday that the attack took place in an elevator at Haselhorst station in Spandau district.
They revealed that an unidentified young man ran his bicycle on the woman's feet while riding the elevator and then assaulted her.
He proceeded to take off her veil and then assaulted her and made racist and xenophobic remarks towards her.
The woman tried to escape, but the assailant threw his motorcycle on her back.
Shortly after the attack, the woman was taken to the hospital due to a serious injury.
